Cross stitch - Amazing photos.

The people that have the patience to take on some of these cross stitch projects, well you amaze me.

The fine details, all that back stitching and my worst nightmare ever the BEADS. I have after two years, phew, just finished an African animal project, In the middle of the scene there was a family of elephants surrounded by a beautiful selection of other animals, with huts and trees at the top. I picked the picture from one of my many magazines, and the pattern came on four pieces of paper. So instead of looking at it as one massive project, I just took it one page at a time, even completing all the back stitching on that one page before moving on to the next. In doing this I found that it was not so over whelming as looking at the whole project.

I thought at times that it would never get finished, and I lost count of the times it nearly went out of the window, but I persevered with it, maybe a little bit on the slow side to start with, but now its finished and I am so proud of it, I have framed it and placed it where every one who comes to our house can see it, and admire it as much as I do, (if they know what's good for them)

Scanning through these photos I can see all the hard work that went into these cross stitch projects, and admire them, almost as much as the people who have done them.

Hope you get as much joy from these photos as I did here: Cross-Stitch-Photo
